The following three practices are the basic core pieces of energy work we will work on in every Chef of Enlightenment Life Transforming Sexual Intimacy Relationship Intensive. These are simple practices that you can do every day.  Advanced Practioners with years of training still do these exercises every day.

Inner Depth

We start be feeling deep into our own bodies.  The practice provides sensitivity to energy as well as opens the gateway to deep relaxation, healing, and self awareness that leads to transformation and transcendence.

Feeling Out Breath Meditation

The next step is to start to feel OUT into the world.  This meditation begins a life long practice of feeling out, into our intimate partner, and the world around us.

Starting Time: 5 Minutes, then build up to 10-15, until feeling in and out with your breath becomes second nature.

Progress: For some people, progress in this realm is quick. Some people are naturally sensitive to energies around themselves. Others may feel absolutely NOTHING outside of themselves, and feeling into the next room seems pointless.  There is nothing wrong with this.  Both types of people and all the ones in between can benefit from regular practice.

Expected Results: A deep sensitivity to energy inside and outside yourself that will enable you to feel more deeply into the world and penetrate it deeper with your offerings.

Further Practice (Going Deeper): There are various deeper and more formalized practices for feeling out into the world, but this basic simple starting point is enough for most people to work a lifetime with. Feeling out further and deeper is something you can refine and develop infinitely, and all the deeper practices do are give guidelines to what you are feeling.  With this simple practice, breath and feeling, in and out, you have all you will ever need to deepen your sensitivity.

Step by Step Guide

1. Sit in a comfortable sitting or kneeling posture, with your spine straight, chin tucked, tongue resting gently on the roof of your mouth.  Get comfortable.

2.  Begin by paying attention to your breath*. Don't change your breath in anyway right now, but  begin to pay attention to your breath, in and out.

3. With each inhale, feel INSIDE yourself. Feel your heart, feel your lungs, feel your kidneys. Feel your bones, skin, tongue, eyes.

4. With each exhale, feel outside yourself.  Feel the air in the room, feel the floor, feel the walls.

5. Breath in... feel inward... breath out, feel out.

6. With each exhale, attempt to feel further out.  How far can you feel?  Can you feel outside the room?  Can you feel outside the building? Can you feel the next city? Can you feel your loved ones wherever they are? Can you feel the mountains, the ocean, the rivers, the sky?  Can you feel the moon? The sun? The planets? Can you feel the stars?

7. When you are done with the meditation, bring your attention inward for a moment, and then with your last out breath picture (imagine in your mind's eye) a cleansing white light through and around you.  The feeling of this light is this: Cleanse me from any of the energies I may have picked up by feeling out.  Close all your feeling out meditations with this pictured intention.
